St Paul's Catholic Primary School Peer Support

PEER SUPPORT

The Peer Support program is a peer led, skills based program that provides students with a supportive environment in which to develop the skills, understandings, attitudes and strategies to make healthy life decisions. Peer leaders (years 6) undergo a two day intensive training program early in term 1. Peer Leaders will work with multi age groups from Prep to Year 5 for eight half hour sessions.

The Peer Support Program enhances peer connections throughout the school and helps maintain positive relationships within the school community. The key concepts developed are sense of self, resilience, connectedness and sense of possibility.
